If you love the ocean, crystal clear water, sunny skies, activity and exercise, then sea kayaking in Rhodes is the perfect excursion for you. You don’t have to have any experience and if you’re a novice, your guide will give you tips and advice.
You’ll be collected from Rhodes and transferred to the harbour on the east coast of the island. Choose your kayak – you may have a few people with you – and then row, enjoy the water, the stunning views, and the occasional dip in the ocean – towards Lindos. Just before Lindos you will stop at Agia Agathi Beach, one of the most stunning and secluded beaches on the island. The snorkelling here is fantastic.
Continue by kayak to Lindos, arriving at Haraki beach with it’s white pebbles and stunning blue bay. More swimming and snorkelling before the walk up the hill at Lindos to see the ancient acropolis.
You can choose the length of your kayaking tour – a couple of hours or a full day – and if you want to have a delicious Greek lunch in a local taverna included. All you need is a swimming costume, a t-shirt for when it gets really hot, sun protection, a hat, and strong arm muscles will help . The day is divine, the views are incredible and the swimming is fab.
A kayak is the perfect way to get to some of the secluded white sand beaches that you can see but never reach. Your guide will chat to you about your abilities before setting off. You’ll return to Rhodes with fantastic photographs, wonderful memories and a few calories burned off too. Unless, of course, you ate all the moussaka!
