Rhodes is especially popular in the school holidays including the May and October half term as well as the main school holidays in July and August. Finding a late deal in August can be especially tricky as even though there may be late availability flights, the hotels get fully booked. The Greeks e.g. from Athens are also on holiday in August so that is why late deals can be harder to come by then. September is also popular just because this is a month that many visitors to Rhodes find the most preferable. The sea has warmed up nicely, the general temperature is not too hot and there are less families around. May, June and October are the best times to get a cheap holiday / late deal to Rhodes.
Booking Rhodes late deals online is the the cheapest way to go. It’s normal to have online discounts higher than in a travel agents. Booking online you have two choices, booking a so called dynamic package where flights and hotel are added together to create a package for you or booking a ready made package from a tour operator such as Thomson or Thomas Cook. It’s worth looking at both options.
