The Gennadi Beach on Rhodes Island is just gorgeous and Gennadi Village is a special find too. Gennadi is a small village with a large beach, a fabulous Greek atmosphere and welcoming and friendly locals. The village has a real holiday feel with lovely Greek tavernas, bars, shops and narrow streets to wander. Quite a few hotels and resorts have popped up over the years because of the growing popularity of the area, and there are many guesthouses, apartments and small boutique hotels.
Gennadi is a charming Greek village and is the ideal base if you are visiting Rhodes. You can spend time here quietly, enjoying the sun and the ocean, and when you’re ready to explore, Lindos and Rhodes town are not too far away. You can hire bikes, a car or book tours. Or, just swim, suntan and enjoy. Gennadi is popular with young people, families, solo travellers and honeymooners too. The beach is beautiful, the swimming is fantastic, the vibe is great and the food is divine. Get here before it gets really busy!
